Amsterdam’s latest tactic to deter nuisance tourists is an online quiz called Amsterdam Rules. This quiz aims to appear in search results about the city and asks visitors why they want to visit. If reasons like stag parties, pub crawls, or public marijuana smoking are given, the response indicates disappointment as these activities are no longer allowed. Despite various experiments and policies like advancing bar closing times, the city is still struggling to manage the increasing number of tourists.
