Kabul – Despite three years of improved security, Afghanistan’s economy remains stagnant, and a humanitarian crisis is worsening. A third of the population relies on bread and tea, with widespread unemployment and projected zero growth by the World Bank. However, since the Taliban takeover in 2021, there have been some positive changes despite their unrecognized government.
