Recently, Turkey’s attention was drawn to the conducting of surveys for laying electrical interconnection cables by an Italian research vessel in the southeast Aegean. The vessel, Ievoli Relume, was navigating through Greek territorial waters, accompanied by a Greek frigate and gunboat, without causing any tension this time.
