Reflecting on the one-year anniversary of Hamas’s invasion of Israel, which resulted in the deaths of over 1,200 people and the kidnapping of hundreds, American supporters of Israel are questioning the government’s efforts to free the hostages in Gaza and prevent future attacks. The recent tragic murders of Hersh Goldberg-Polin and five others have brought this issue to the forefront. Hersh, an American-Israeli citizen, was taken hostage by Hamas and tragically killed.
