A grand jirga designated Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur to resolve peace-related issues in the province ahead of a three-day gathering organized by the recently proscribed Pashtun Tahaffuz Movement (PTM). The federal government imposed a ban on PTM and KP government prohibited officials from engaging with the Pashtoon Qaumi Jirga organized by PTM.
