A recent court ruling in Germany acquitted Christian Brueckner, the main suspect in the disappearance of British toddler Madeleine McCann, of unrelated sexual offense charges. However, Brueckner, a 47-year-old German national, will remain in prison due to a previous rape conviction. The court in Braunschweig found him not guilty of sexual offenses allegedly committed in Portugal between 2000 and 2017.
