Abortion Rates Increase in U.S. Amidst State Bans: A recent report released by the Society of Family Planning revealed that abortion rates in the U.S. have slightly increased in the first three months of this year compared to before the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade. The rise can be attributed to Democratic-controlled states enacting laws to protect doctors who use telemedicine for providing abortions in states with bans.
