Extended Summer Vacation in Sindh Schools
Due to the heatwave and expected monsoon rains, the Sindh government has decided to extend summer vacation for all public and private schools in the province until August 14. This decision was made by the Sindh School Education and Literacy Department to ensure the safety and well-being of students during extreme weather conditions.
Although the summer vacations were initially scheduled to end on July 31, the extension aims to protect students from the harsh weather. However, co-curricular activities related to Independence Day on August 14 will continue as planned.
Parents and students are advised to stay updated with any further announcements regarding the reopening of schools. The decision was taken by the sub-committee of the steering committee during its meeting on January 25.
Let’s ensure the safety of our children during this challenging time.
