Welcome to the Future of Healthcare Licensing in Jordan!
The Ministry of Health, in collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship and with the support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), has revolutionized healthcare licensing in Jordan. They have introduced 31 online services for issuing professional practice permits for healthcare workers, marking the first phase of a comprehensive initiative to digitize 63 services.
This innovative system aims to simplify the licensing and re-licensing process for healthcare professionals while promoting continuous professional development. Now, Jordanian healthcare workers can obtain practice permits for 31 different professions online through the Ministry of Health’s website or via the direct link provided.
Minister of Health Dr. Firas Al-Hawari highlighted the convenience and efficiency of the new electronic system, which eliminates the need for in-person visits to various institutions. The second phase of the project will expand to include non-Jordanians and cover licensing, re-licensing, and professional development services.
This collaborative effort between ministries, government institutions, and healthcare organizations sets a precedent for achieving common goals and aligns with Jordan’s digital strategy and Economic Modernisation Vision. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting development in healthcare licensing!
