The Energy Ministry continues to monitor the situation in areas experiencing high temperatures due to an ongoing heatwave. Deputy Energy Minister Yevgeny Grabchak warned of potential power restrictions if problems persist.
Tuesday’s outages extended to regions beyond Rostov, including Krasnodar, Dagestan, and Crimea. With energy consumption peaking during the summer, the power system is under strain. In response, Krasnodar announced power usage restrictions for the next three days to avoid overloading the grid.
