BiH and Italy Sign Agreement on Mutual Recognition of Driver’s Licenses
In a significant development, the Minister of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Edin Forto, and the Ambassador of Italy to BiH, Marko Di Ruzza, came together in Sarajevo to sign an important agreement. The Agreement between the Council of Ministers of BiH and the Government of the Republic of Italy focuses on mutual recognition in the field of replacement of driver’s licenses.
Forto expressed his gratitude towards Ambassador Di Ruzza and the Italian Government for finally granting BiH’s request, which had been pending for 16 years. He emphasized the importance of this agreement and hoped that it would set an example for other European countries to enhance their cooperation in a similar manner.
Ambassador Di Ruzza echoed Forto’s sentiments, highlighting the practical benefits that this agreement will bring to the citizens of both countries. With the ability to easily exchange driver’s licenses now in place, it is indeed a significant step towards facilitating smoother interactions between the two nations.
This agreement is not merely a technical document but should be viewed as a new link that strengthens the bond between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Italy, connecting their people even further. The signing of this agreement marks a positive milestone in the bilateral relations between the two countries.
It is heartening to see such collaborative efforts being made, ultimately benefiting the citizens and promoting mutual understanding and cooperation. This move is a testament to both BiH and Italy’s commitment to fostering positive diplomatic relations and facilitating ease of travel for their citizens.
