The Arrest of Police Inspector Over Robbery in Kogi State
The Kogi State Police Command has made a shocking revelation with the arrest of Police Inspector Aminu Mohammed for his involvement in a robbery case in Lokoja, the state capital.
Public Relations Officer, SP William Aya, disclosed that the officer was caught due to the activities of a notorious armed robbery gang targeting houses for household items and cars. The stolen car was traced to the workshop of a panel beater, Arome Moses, who was in the process of changing its color.
Upon raising an alarm, the Quick Response Unit of the Police Area Command swiftly apprehended the panel beater, who confessed to being part of a gang that was contracted to rob the car owner’s house. The gang member named the police officer as the mastermind behind the crime.
This incident serves as a reminder that no one is above the law, and it is the duty of the police to uphold justice and security in society.
