Sanaa Airport Director Calls for Opening Airport Completely
In a recent statement, Sanaa International Airport Director, Khaled Al-Shayef, urged for the complete opening of Sanaa Airport to all destinations, emphasizing that it is the right of all Yemeni people. Al-Shayef emphasized that partial solutions are not acceptable and highlighted the impact of the Saudi-led coalition’s total siege on the airport, leaving thousands of Yemenis stranded in various countries.
Before the aggression and siege, Sanaa Airport operated 50 daily flights to over 30 destinations, showcasing the severe consequences of the current restrictions. The Minister of Transport in the Sanaa government, Abdulwahab Al-Durrah, echoed these sentiments and criticized the coalition’s efforts to ban flights and revert the situation at the airport.
Recently, Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi issued a warning to the Saudi regime regarding the economic escalation against Yemeni people. The calls for the full opening of Sanaa Airport reflect the urgency of the situation and the importance of allowing Yemenis to travel freely.
