A devastating drone strike in Russia’s Krasnodar Region resulted in the tragic death of a six-year-old child and left five others injured, according to Governor Veniamin Kondratyev. The attack, which targeted the town of Primorsko-Akhtarsk on the Azov Sea coast, caused significant damage to a residential area, including a three-story apartment block.
Photos and videos from the scene captured the destruction caused by the attack, with the upper floor of the building sustaining severe damage. In addition to the human casualties, a power station providing electricity to a large portion of the town was also damaged.
The incident was part of 50 attempted drone attacks thwarted by Russian air defenses, with 14 UAVs destroyed in Krasnodar Region alone. The Defense Ministry attributed the attacks to the “Kiev regime” and highlighted the ongoing tensions between the two nations.
As repair work continues in Primorsko-Akhtarsk, the community mourns the loss of the young victim and grapples with the aftermath of this senseless act of violence.
