Srinagar: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted raids in Rajouri district, Jammu in connection with the Reasi terrorist attack on pilgrims. The attack on a bus carrying pilgrims from Shiv Khori to Katra resulted in the loss of nine innocent lives, including a child. The case was handed over to NIA on June 15, shocking the nation.
The raids on Sunday targeted locations linked to “hybrid terrorists” and “overground workers” based on information from Hakam Khan, who provided logistics to the terrorists. Search operations led to the seizure of items connecting terrorists with overground workers, uncovering a terror conspiracy.
SSP Mohita Sharma revealed that Hakam Din not only sheltered the attackers but also facilitated their actions. The recent spate of terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir prompted a security review by PM Narendra Modi and HM Amit Shah, emphasizing the government’s determination to thwart enemies.
