In a tragic incident in Gujrat, a 14-year-old boy is accused of murdering a middle-aged man after an argument over a sectarian issue escalated at Chak Chohdo village. The teenager, Rehan, reportedly stabbed Syed Nazeer Hussain Shah multiple times with a knife before fleeing the scene. Despite being rushed to Kunjah THQ Hospital, Shah succumbed to his injuries.
Authorities conducted an autopsy and handed over the body to the victim’s family, while the Punjab Forensic Science Agency gathered evidence at the crime scene. Three suspects, including Rehan, his uncle, and father, have been charged under relevant sections of the Pakistan Penal Code.
Local sources suggest that the main suspect may have extremist beliefs, but police are conducting raids to apprehend all suspects and determine the true motive behind the heinous act. This tragic incident serves as a grim reminder of the consequences of religious intolerance and fanaticism in society.
