After his speech in Rosario, the South American leader will embark on yet another European tour
Argentine President Javier Milei revived the May Pact initiative during the Flag Day celebrations in Rosario, setting July 9th as the new target date for signing the agreement aimed at triggering the country’s economic recovery. Milei urged former presidents, governors, judges, businessmen, and trade unionists to put aside partisan differences for the greater good of Argentina.
He emphasized the importance of freedom and independence, comparing the current situation to the struggle for autonomy in Argentina’s history. Milei hopes that signing the May Pact will lead to a prosperous and free Argentina. Cabinet Chief Guillermo Francos also expressed support for signing the pact on Independence Day in Tucumán.
After his speech, Milei left for an European tour, starting in Madrid, then Germany and the Czech Republic, where he will be recognized for his achievements as a Libertarian. However, his trip is overshadowed by a recent diplomatic dispute with Spain due to comments made about the Spanish Prime Minister’s wife’s alleged corruption.
