The speaker of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia has announced a special session of parliament scheduled to begin on Monday at 6:30pm, as reported by the NA press service to Armenian News-NEWS.am. The agenda for this session includes debates on a call for the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s government, which has been proposed by the NA opposition.
Simultaneously, an opposition rally organized by the Tavush for the Homeland movement, led by Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, will commence near the NA building at the same time. This development sets the stage for a significant showdown between the ruling government and the opposition forces, highlighting the deep-rooted political tensions in Armenia.
