Pakistan Hajj Mission: A Well-Organized Pilgrimage
The Pakistan Hajj Mission (PHM) has already welcomed 98,500 pilgrims in Madinah and Makkah as part of the month-long pre-Hajj flight operation that started on May 9. Under both government and private schemes, pilgrims have been arriving in significant numbers, with 62,500 under the government scheme and over 36,000 under private arrangements.
This year, a total of 160,000 Pakistani pilgrims will undertake the Hajj journey, with 70,000 through the government scheme and 90,000 via private Hajj Groups Organizers. The PHM, supervised by the Director General (Hajj) and six department heads, is ensuring a smooth operation in Saudi Arabia.
The ministry has set up two central hospitals and several dispensaries in the Haram area, staffed by 375 medical professionals equipped with modern facilities. Additionally, 511 Hajj Moavineen are working to provide travel, accommodation, and food services to pilgrims.
Under the Ministry’s ‘Hajj Digitalization’ initiative, necessary information and prompt complaint resolution are being provided to pilgrims through the Pak Hajj Mobile App, ensuring a seamless experience for all.
