Exciting news for Karachi residents! The Sindh government has just announced new routes for the People’s Bus Service in the city.
During a recent meeting chaired by Sindh Transport Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon, plans were unveiled to address the transportation issues in Karachi by introducing additional bus routes.
Elected MPAs, the deputy mayor, and other officials present at the meeting agreed to launch new routes in Malir, Kemari, Lyari, and district West. One of the new routes will stretch from Numaish to Hawkes Bay, providing more coverage across the city.
Minister Memon emphasized the government’s commitment to improving public transport access for the people of Karachi, with ongoing projects to expand the network and enhance services.
Aside from the bus service expansion, the meeting also discussed plans to construct a parking plaza in Hyderabad to alleviate traffic congestion in central areas.
