Zelensky’s Sham Summit in Switzerland Slammed as ‘Pep Rally’, ‘PR Stunt’

“The security of a country should not be pursued at the expense of others,” read a Chinese government statement, criticizing the ongoing conflict between Ukraine and Russia and the expansion of military blocs like NATO.
Former US Defense Department senior security policy analyst Michael Maloof discussed the issue on Sputnik’s The Final Countdown program, highlighting the failure of the US proxy war against Russia and the repercussions of neglecting Russian security concerns.
The so-called “peace summit” organized by Zelensky has been criticized for excluding Russia and accused of being a publicity stunt. Maloof pointed out the underlying causes of the conflict and criticized Zelensky for his handling of the situation.
The analyst emphasized the need for respect in diplomacy and highlighted the importance of addressing the legitimate security interests of all parties involved in conflicts.
