The Nasarawa State Police Command has made significant strides in combating theft in the state, with the recent arrest of five suspects involved in separate incidents. The arrests, which led to the recovery of stolen items, including two 32-inch LG television sets, were announced by the command’s Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ramhan Nansel.
The statement also mentioned that four suspects were apprehended in connection to a burglary at an electronic store, where four Kapital solar batteries and the two televisions were recovered as evidence.
Additionally, another suspect, Bissan Mark, was arrested by officers from the Masaka Division following a theft report, leading to the recovery of a locally fabricated revolver pistol and a knife from his residence.
The state commissioner of police, CP Umar Nadada, has instructed Divisional Police Officers to conduct thorough investigations and ensure that the suspects are prosecuted accordingly.
These recent arrests highlight the commitment of the Nasarawa State Police Command in ensuring the safety and security of residents in the state, as they continue to crack down on criminal activities.
