Prime Minister Dr. Bishr Al-Khasawneh has announced a suspension of work across Jordan in honor of the national holiday on June 9. This holiday commemorates the accession of His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein to the throne and the twenty-fifth anniversary of his reign.
The suspension includes all government entities, public institutions, universities, municipalities, and government-owned companies. Private sector workers will also observe the day off. This decision is part of the festivities for the nation’s significant events.
