The death toll of a Russian missile attack in Kharkiv’s Novobavarskyi district has risen to seven, including four men and three women. Search operations are ongoing to rescue two more women trapped under the rubble, Governor Oleh Syniehubov reported.
Russian missiles targeted three locations – a residential building, a sewing workshop, and a local shop. The attack included a ‘double-tap’ strike, endangering first responders and resulting in injuries, including to emergency medical workers.
Russia has escalated attacks on Kharkiv, using missiles, glide bombs, and drones, causing destruction and civilian casualties. The recent assault in Kharkiv killed six people and injured 25 others, as reported by the State Emergency Service.
