In a recent update, it was revealed that 100,437 forcibly displaced persons from Nagorno-Karabakh have sought refuge in Armenia. The Prime Minister’s spokesperson, Nazeli Baghdasaryan, announced this significant number during a press briefing on September 30.
The influx of people crossing the Hakari Bridge, totaling 21,062 vehicles, has been noted. However, the intensity of arrivals has decreased notably since midnight.
Notably, 34,607 individuals have opted to accept the government’s accommodation offer, while others have chosen to stay with relatives or friends in the country. The Armenian government continues its humanitarian efforts round-the-clock to provide support to these displaced individuals.
It is heartening to see the solidarity and support extended to those affected by the conflict, both from the government and locals opening their homes to those in need.
