The Edo State Government has refuted claims circulating that the state executive council has been dissolved and political appointees sacked. In a statement, the Secretary to the State Government, Osarodion Ogie, dismissed the news as false and the work of troublemakers.
He clarified, “The Edo State Government denies the misinformation spread on social media about the dissolution of the State Executive Council (EXCO) and political appointees. This rumor is the creation of mischief-makers aiming to sow panic and chaos for their own gain.”
Ogie urged all appointees to continue their duties and ignore the unfounded reports. The government stands firm in its commitment to governance and service delivery.
