Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Meets Imran Khan in Jail
RAWALPINDI: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur recently met with Imran Khan, the founding chairman of PTI, in Adiala jail. This meeting, held in the jail’s conference room, lasted about 40 minutes and covered various important topics.
Despite Sunday being a public holiday where visitors are not usually allowed to see prisoners, Mr. Gandapur was granted permission to visit Imran Khan. During the meeting, Gandapur shared details about the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) and discussed the party and national political situation with Khan.
The meeting is seen as a positive move, and after it concluded, CM Gandapur left for Islamabad. Following a previous SIFC meeting, where Gandapur had talked to the army chief twice, the CM emphasized the importance of utilizing the province’s resources for the benefit of its residents and the country.
