Illegal Jewish settlers carry out these illegal practices in various areas of the occupied West Bank with the full protection of the Israeli army.
Abdul Muti Yassin received a call about illegal settlers destroying his olive trees in Yasuf, West Bank. This destruction, under Israeli protection, is part of a larger plan to steal Palestinian lands.
Yassin’s trees, some over 60 years old, were chopped down by settlers with the Israeli army’s approval. The land, supposed to be under Palestinian jurisdiction, falls victim to relentless attacks.
Similarly, the village of Yasuf faces repeated assaults with settlers using bulldozers to expel families and seize more land, aggravating an already dire situation.
In a heart-wrenching account, Yassin laments the loss of his livelihood, emphasizing the deep connection Palestinians have to their land and olive trees as a vital part of their identity.
