In a recent military operation, Ukrainian forces successfully liberated and cleared the village of Kruhliakivka in Kharkiv Oblast from Russian soldiers. Conducted between Oct. 7-14, special forces of the Bratstvo unit, supported by Ukraine’s 77th Separate Airmobile Brigade, drove out the enemy and secured the area by mining their movement routes. The village is strategically crucial for defending Kupiansk, located only 40 kilometers from the Russian border.
Following Moscow’s renewed offensive in Kharkiv Oblast, Kupiansk faced increasing pressure from Russian forces, with 19 attacks reported in the region in recent days. The operation resulted in the loss of over a platoon of Russian infantry and the capture of Russian soldiers, providing valuable intelligence for Ukrainian forces.
In a separate development, Ukrainian units reclaimed a significant amount of forest near Lyptsi in Kharkiv Oblast and made advancements on the front line. The continued success of operations by elite Ukrainian brigades showcases the resilience and determination of Ukraine’s military against Russian aggression.
