Breaking Ground: New Residential Complex Underway in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan
President Sadyr Japarov has kickstarted the construction of the “Yntymak” residential complex in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. This ambitious project by the State Mortgage Company will feature 18-story buildings spread over 18 hectares, comprising a total of 8,100 apartments along with essential amenities such as roads, schools, kindergartens, green spaces, and parking lots.
Half of the apartments will be offered to social workers under favorable conditions, while the other half will be available to migrants and citizens who contribute towards construction costs. Japarov highlighted the government’s commitment to providing housing for all, with over 40,000 residences currently under construction nationwide.
A special program has been introduced to simplify access to housing for vulnerable groups, prioritizing those without homes, including migrant workers. Japarov aims to ensure that everyone in need has a home by 2028, emphasizing the government’s efforts to address the housing shortage in urban and rural areas.
