Israeli Forces Kill Hamas Leader Yahya Sinwar in Gaza Operation

Yayha Sinwar, who orchestrated October 7 Israel attack, was killed in an operation by Israeli forces in Gaza on Thursday.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu praised the killing of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar and urged the release of hostages held by the militant group. Netanyahu warned Hamas terrorists to release hostages to live, otherwise, they will face consequences.
Netanyahu described Sinwar’s death as a significant step towards ending Hamas rule in Gaza. He commended the Israeli Defence Forces for their role in the operation, emphasizing the victory of good over evil.
US President Joe Biden and Republican House Speaker also welcomed Sinwar’s death, hailing it as a relief for Israel. The US Secretary of State Antony Blinken discussed the situation with Qatar PM Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani.
