Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Araqchi recently met with Egyptian President El-Sisi in Cairo to discuss the pressing regional issues stemming from the Israeli attacks in Palestine and Lebanon. Araqchi emphasized the need for immediate action to halt the Israeli atrocities and provide humanitarian aid to refugees in the affected areas.
El-Sisi shared Egypt’s concerns over the escalating situation and underscored the importance of preventing further violence to maintain regional stability. Both parties expressed a commitment to ongoing discussions and efforts to strengthen bilateral relations in the face of these challenges.
Following the meeting, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Baqaei praised the productive talks, highlighting the urgency of stopping aggression and preventing dangerous escalations in the region. Araqchi’s visit to Cairo comes after similar discussions in Jordan, demonstrating Iran’s active diplomacy in rallying regional support to address the crisis.
