ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, October 16- Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov recently met with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad to discuss the finalization of bilateral documents for the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas pipeline project. The meeting also focused on enhancing cooperation in various areas such as political, economic, and cultural spheres.
The discussions also included the acceleration of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan (TAP) high-voltage power transmission line project, highlighting the significance of strengthening relations and advancing cooperation between Turkmenistan and Pakistan.
It is important to note that the Turkmenistan delegation is currently in Pakistan as a guest of honor at the meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, further showcasing the commitment to regional collaboration and partnership.
