Hezbollah’s Media Relations Department has issued a statement highlighting the Israeli enemy’s use of cluster munitions in South Lebanon. The statement revealed that on October 15, 2024, rockets filled with internationally banned cluster bombs were launched in specific areas.
The targeted locations included Wadi al-Khanazir in Wadi al-Hijar, Khallat Raj between the towns of Al-Ma’lam and Deir Sryan, and the forests east of Al-Ma’lam. Hezbollah condemned this act as a barbaric crime, emphasizing Israel’s disregard for international laws and norms.
Calling on Lebanese authorities and international organizations to denounce the atrocity, Hezbollah stressed the long-term negative impact on civilians. This incident underscores Israel’s inability to face the Islamic Resistance directly, resorting to inhumane tactics instead.
