King speaks in Sahara-focused speech at Parliament opening

King Mohammed VI, along with Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan and Prince Moulay Rachid, led the opening of the new legislative session in Rabat. During his speech, the King emphasized Morocco’s proactive stance on the Sahara issue, moving from reactive to determined action.

The monarch also highlighted France’s recognition of Morocco’s sovereignty over the Sahara and its support for the autonomy initiative as a solution to the dispute. King Mohammed VI called for united efforts from all institutions to enhance performance in addressing the Sahara issue.
