BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 10. The Defense Ministries of Azerbaijan and Belarus are continuing their cooperation as a delegation from Belarus visits Azerbaijan to strengthen bilateral ties. The visit, in line with the 2024 cooperation plan, includes meetings with Azerbaijani officials and military personnel.
The delegation from Belarus Ministry of Defense visited the International Military Cooperation Department of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense, where they received a briefing on the activities of the engineering troops. Major General Anar Karimov informed the delegation about mine clearance work in liberated territories after the Second Karabakh War.
The discussions between the two sides focused on enhancing collaboration and moving relations forward. The Belarusian delegation also visited a military unit of the Engineering Troops, inspecting weapons, supplies, and equipment.
This visit underscores the commitment of both countries to strengthen defense cooperation and explore opportunities for future collaboration.
