14th Trans-Regional Seapower Symposium Promotes Underwater Security
The 14th Trans-Regional Seapower Symposium took place in Venice, Italy, with the aim of enhancing countries’ efforts to protect the underwater environment and ensure security in the underwater domain. The event, attended by naval commanders from around 100 countries and representatives from 400 maritime organizations, highlighted the importance of collaboration in safeguarding the seas.
Representatives from the Military Attaché Office of Azerbaijan in Italy participated in the symposium at the invitation of Admiral Enrico Credendino, Chief of the Italian Navy. The opening ceremony featured a speech by Italy’s Minister of Defense Guido Crosetto, who welcomed all attendees and emphasized the significance of working together to address maritime security challenges.
Overall, the symposium served as a platform for naval leaders and maritime experts to exchange views, share best practices, and strengthen international cooperation in protecting the world’s oceans.
