The annual NATO Quality Assurance Forum kicked off in Sarajevo today, hosted by the Training Center for Peace Support Operations (PSOTC) of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Bringing together 61 participants from various accredited NATO education and training institutions, the forum aims to enhance quality assurance within NATO’s education and individual training framework.
The event promotes collaboration among representatives of educational institutions, focusing on synchronization and interoperability within the NATO Quality Assurance Programme. Key objectives include addressing upcoming challenges, finalizing the 2025 work program, and sharing best practices from recent accreditation visits.
The opening ceremony featured speeches from notable figures such as Rear Admiral Placido Torresi and Colonel Damir Alibašić, highlighting the forum’s significance in improving NATO’s quality standards and fostering cooperation for future projects.
Quality managers and heads of quality assurance bodies from accredited or aspiring NATO institutions participate, with support from the Quality Assurance Expert Team. PSOTC, institutionally accredited by NATO, plays a vital role in the quality assurance community, emphasizing its commitment to NATO standards.
