In a historic move on October 7, 2023, Palestine’s Hamas movement and other resistance groups launched Operation Al-Aqsa Flood from Gaza to the Gaza Envelop, marking the first major Palestinian attack on the Israeli regime since 1948. Speaker at the 7th International Conference of Solidarity with Palestinian Children, Ghalibaf, emphasized that US and NATO support for Israel cannot ensure its survival, challenging the Israeli occupation of Palestine. He condemned recent Israeli air raids on Lebanon and assassination of Hezbollah leaders, blaming the US for these crimes.
One year later, commemorating the anniversary of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, rockets were fired at Tel Aviv from Gaza, underscoring the ongoing resistance against Israeli aggression. Despite Israel’s retaliation leading to mass casualties, including over 41,000 deaths, the regime failed to defeat Hamas or free captives taken in response to decades of occupation. Ayatollah Khamenei hailed Israel’s defeat as “irreparable,” emphasizing the resilience of Palestinian resistance.
The anniversary of Al-Aqsa Flood signifies a continued struggle for Palestinian freedom, with global demonstrations in solidarity. As tensions escalate, the future of the Israeli regime remains uncertain, facing internal and external challenges to its existence.
