Former COAS Commends Rivers State Governor for Conduct of Local Government Elections
Former Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen Kenneth Minimah (retd), has applauded Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, for the successful conduct of the Local Government elections on October 5th, 2024.
In a congratulatory message, Minimah praised the governor’s commitment to ensuring the elections took place, calling it a significant milestone for the state. He encouraged Fubara to continue driving development and urged politicians to prioritize the welfare of the people.
Minimah stated, “Governor Fubara has shown strong leadership in conducting the local government elections seamlessly. This success reflects his administration’s dedication to grassroots development.”
He also commended the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission and the residents for their roles in the election’s success.
