Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon, Mojtaba Amani, praised Deputy Foreign Minister Abbass Araghchi’s recent visit to Lebanon as courageous and significant, emphasizing its regional implications. Amani, currently recovering from injuries sustained in a terrorist attack, expressed Iran’s unwavering support for Lebanon in the face of external threats.
Amani emphasized Iran’s commitment to stand by Lebanon during challenging times and reiterated Iran’s stance against interference by the United States and Israel in regional affairs. He highlighted the importance of regional countries, led by the resistance front, shaping their own future.
Prior to Amani’s remarks, Deputy Foreign Minister Araghchi reiterated Iran’s support for Lebanon’s government and people during a meeting with the Prime Minister. Araghchi emphasized Iran’s solidarity with Lebanon in resisting aggression from Israel.
