Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan has stated that the government is committed to integrating the displaced population of Nagorno-Karabakh into society if they are unable to return home. Speaking at the Warsaw Security Forum, Mirzoyan acknowledged the challenges of accommodating over 100,000 refugees in a short period of time, but highlighted the government’s efforts to meet their immediate needs and secure international assistance.
Looking ahead, Mirzoyan emphasized the importance of addressing the mid-term and long-term needs of the displaced population, particularly in terms of housing and employment. He outlined the government’s policy of facilitating integration into Armenian society for those unable to return home, emphasizing the importance of helping them find jobs and build new lives in Armenia.
