Chief Minister Siddaramaiah of Mysuru has emphasized the importance of honesty and efficiency among government officials. During a district-level progress review meeting, he warned against using excuses and telling lies to delay work, urging officials to maintain discipline and manage time effectively.
Siddaramaiah also addressed the issue of using the upcoming Dasara festival as an excuse for delays in developmental projects. He stressed that government employees must prioritize their duties over festival celebrations, ensuring that benefits reach the rural population.
The Chief Minister highlighted the significance of maintaining law and order to attract investment and drive the state’s economy. He emphasized the need for officials to focus on delivering essential services to the people, without any caste discrimination.
Furthermore, Siddaramaiah warned officials against neglecting developmental projects, stating that action would be taken against those who fail to prepare action plans for allocated funds. He reaffirmed his commitment to making Mysuru Dasara a grand celebration, showcasing the city’s cultural heritage on a global stage.
