In a fiery rally, Vikramaditya Singh, a Congress leader, criticized Kangana Ranaut for belittling the contributions of former prime ministers and chief ministers. Singh highlighted the dynastic politics of the Congress contrasted with the BJP’s representation of commoners like Modi and Thakur rising to power.
Singh also emphasized the decline in tourist footfall in Kullu district and proposed promoting eco-tourism to attract visitors year-round if elected as MP. He proudly mentioned schemes like 24-hour drinking water supply, IIT Mandi, and Medical College in Ner Chowk implemented during the Congress regime.
Challenging Ranaut’s accusations of lack of progress in Mandi, Singh urged her to recognize the developmental works done by the Congress-led government at the grassroots level. Vikramaditya Singh, the son of veteran politicians, is eyeing the Mandi parliamentary seat in the upcoming elections being held on June 1.
