Reports from Lebanese media have revealed that citizens of the country have been receiving alarming and threatening messages on their phones recently. One message, as seen in a screenshot, warned a supporter of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah that they would be rewarded with a meeting in Hell.
Other messages claimed to be from Jewish Israelis who expressed hatred towards their own country and government, offering to assist in its destruction. The mysterious messages, written in unclear Arabic, boasted of unknown ties and capabilities.
It remains unclear who is behind these messages, with one Lebanese TV channel suggesting they originated from an Israeli messaging app known for disseminating content without revealing the sender’s identity.
These reports emerged following a separate incident in which Israelis received messages urging them to seek shelter immediately due to a potential Hezbollah attack. The Israeli Home Front Command denied issuing any such warnings, attributing the messages to a likely cyberattack.
Meanwhile, a Saudi media outlet quoted an expert warning that electric cars could also be vulnerable to breaches and detonations similar to communication devices, potentially causing even greater harm.
