Strengthening Bilateral Security Cooperation: Morocco’s Abdellatif Hammouchi Visits Türkiye
Abdellatif Hammouchi, Morocco’s Director General of National Security and Territorial Surveillance, recently embarked on a working visit to Türkiye from September 19-21. The purpose of his visit was to bolster bilateral security cooperation and enhance collaboration on technological and scientific innovations in the security sector.
During his stay in Türkiye, Hammouchi engaged in meetings with high-ranking officials such as Türkiye’s Deputy Interior Minister, Munir Karaloglu, and the Director General of Intelligence, Selami Yildiz. Discussions revolved around common security issues, existing levels of cooperation, and strategies to elevate cooperation in order to combat security threats effectively and ensure stability.
The visit also included Hammouchi’s participation in the Internal Security Equipment Exhibition (IGEF24) in Ankara. The exhibition served as a global platform to showcase cutting-edge technological advancements in security and defense, providing insight into innovative equipment and technologies that can strengthen security systems and combat emerging threats.
