The Republic of Cyprus and Chevron are working together to resolve issues and move forward with the development of the Aphrodite gas field. The Minister of Energy, George Papanastasiou, and Chevron Vice President Frank Cassulo met in Nicosia to discuss the project.
Both parties have agreed to engage in discussions over the next four months to find a mutually beneficial solution. Minister Papanastasiou emphasized the importance of advancing projects for the country’s benefit while protecting the rights of the Republic.
