The Pinetown Magistrate’s Court has issued a warrant for the arrest of Linda Hlongwa, a suspect linked to extortion cases and illegal firearms possession in Mariannhill. Known as “Mjinja” and “Putin”, Hlongwa was initially arrested in July 2020 for firearm possession but failed to appear in court, leading to the warrant.
The KwaZulu-Natal police are requesting assistance in locating Hlongwa and urge anyone with information to contact Sergeant Gwala on 079 889 9733 or report anonymously via the Crime Stop number [08600 10111].
