Less than two days after a ballistic missile entered Israeli air space, the Houthis in Yemen released footage of the missile launch that disintegrated in the air and may have been intercepted by Israel’s defense systems. The missile, named “Palestine 2,” was launched directly from Yemen to Israel and was tracked by the Arrow defense system. Parts of the missile landed near the city of Lod, causing minor injuries to nine people.
The missile, identified as the Iranian Kheibar, is known for its high speed. Hamas also expressed support for the Houthis’ actions.
