Exciting Changes for Foreigners in Kyrgyzstan! Starting from September 5, new regulations will be in place for foreigners visiting Kyrgyzstan. The Kyrgyz government has made changes to the registration process for citizens of visa-free countries like Russia, Kazakhstan, and Armenia.
Under the new rules, foreigners staying in Kyrgyzstan for personal reasons for more than 60 days will need specific documents for registration. Previously, registration lasted for six months, but now it must be based on a document allowing their stay, such as a residence permit or a “Kairylman” certificate.
Citizens from EAEU member states can stay up to 90 days within a 180-day period without additional documentation, while those from Tajikistan, Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Moldova can stay up to 60 days within a 120-day period.
